Open to view video. Hello! Thanks so much for signing up for the “Understanding Equity during the Pandemic” webinar. In an effort to give you some context on diverse perspectives during the pandemic we created a video about understanding diverse perspectives during COVID-19. This resource shares how employees are being impacted because of the biases around race/ethnicity, geographical location, socio-economic status, age, immigration status etc. During our discussion we will go over the difference between equity and equality. We will hear personal stories from two of my colleagues about why equity matters now and how it affects employees. We will also be sharing equitable best practices companies are putting in place to help their employees thrive during the pandemic. We have many useful tips that I am excited to share with you. Of course, if you have any specific questions about your organization, I am happy to help. We are dedicating the last 15 minutes to answer questions. Can’t wait to chat with you! Best, Shilpa
