Presenters:

Nick Karls is a Vice President in the Employee Benefits division for the Hays Companies. Nick started with Hays in 2013 and is the creator of Hays CoreCompliance, a web-based tool for comprehensive compliance reviews of employee welfare benefit plans. Nick is a frequent national speaker on compliance topics, authors monthly compliance articles and hosts national webinars for Hays clients and prospects.

 

Nick is licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota. Before joining Hays Companies and going to law school, Nick worked in the Consumer Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office as a Mediator.  While working in the Attorney General’s Office, Nick developed an expertise in the fields of consumer health care, consumer finance, as well as the Minnesota regulatory framework.
